Other Uttered Utter in Order

"Other Uttered Utters in Order" is a radically vulnerable spoken and sung duet between Chaesong Kim and Anthony Sertel Dean on the topic of the land. It utilizes the interplay of expression to create a multidimensional conversation between understandings of land as it relates to indigeneity, and immigration. It seeks to capture the complex feelings the two individuals embodying different relationship to this land experience daily. It was originally presented at En Garde Art's Playdate, curated by Yibin Wang, and was performed at The Makers’ Ensemble’s Intimate Artist Night.
