In Korean mythology, old things bear spirits. It’s the embodied time of witnessing and getting tended towards that give them life. These creatures are made out of yarns that were entangled, adorned, and abused through the iterations of She Walks the Air. They have wrapped around the trees of Bearnstow, danced with my ensemble’s movement, guided the audience through the air, have been beaten as I spoke of my anger and fear on stage, and now they are seen, or better yet, held, by you.
