She Walks the Air IX
She Walks the Air IX was the ninth iteration of this series in the form of a full-length dance-theater piece, casting the theater as a liminal space. The theater mimicked that of “The Water Station” by Ota Shogo, but with codified interventions brought through accumulation of the previous iterations. The show resisted concluding by walking the audience out of the theater, guided by the performers with red yarns, then gifting each participant an object with a performance score inside.
